Happy Bonfire Night, Weevils!
That day has made yet another return as we have left October, with one more month until Christmas arrives.
Do you know why Bonfire Night is a thing? What's it about? Here's the facts!
Bonfire Night, or Guy Fawkes Night as it is also known as, is an annual (yearly) commemoration which is observed on 5 November, primarily in Great Britain.
Every year, people all over the country set fireworks off and go to displays in their local parks or display events.
Holding the sparklers and watching the colourful fireworks blast into the air may be fun, but here's some of our safety tips:
Adults only! - Children should never handle fireworks. It isn't safe if you don't use them properly and the adults will always know best. Anyway, why should you do the work? You're there for the fun and it takes effort to start a firework display so let your parent/guardians do it.
Pets can be scared! - Your pets (especially cats and dogs) can be easily scared by the sound of loud fireworks. Ensure they are somewhere safe in the house that they will not be scared and possibly have one person to take care of them whilst the firework display is on. You could take it in turns to do this so no one misses out on the fun.
Before 12pm! - It is illegal to set off or throw fireworks (including sparklers) between 11pm and 7am, however on Bonfire Night this changes to 12pm-7am.
Other than that everyone here at Bin Weevils Cheat Site wishes you a fun, safe night! :-D
